  19. I think the 1500x1500 is # of pixels.  They probably interpolate the
  20. extra resolution for a still over several frames.  It is probably similar
  21. to the way some of digital scope that offers a much higher frequency
  22. (ie picture resolution) range for a repetitive waveform (ie a still frame)
  23. by sampling over time.
